Disaster Preparedness Training
Do you know how you would respond if a disaster or emergency affected your community?
Join the Center for People with Disabilities (CPWD), Boulder Office of Disaster Management, Xcel Energy, and community partners for a free Disaster Preparedness Training and Resource Fair. Learn how to create a preparedness plan, understand emergency alert systems, and prepare for emergencies.
The training will include important information for individuals with disabilities and access or functional needs, along with practical tools to help you stay safe during disasters. Afterward, explore an outdoor resource fair featuring local organizations and agencies focused on disaster preparedness and response.
All participants will receive a preparedness supply kit that includes a backup battery charger, headlamp, and water filter.
