The Imagine! Foundation

We Fund the Hard Stuff.

Because opportunity shouldn’t stop where funding does.

Some of the most meaningful opportunities don’t fit neatly into traditional funding models. That’s where the Imagine! Foundation comes in.

Through philanthropy and community partnerships, we help Imagine! create opportunities for people with disabilities to live, learn, work, and thrive.

Our Journey and Mission

The Imagine! Foundation has supported Imagine! since 2000, raising philanthropic funds and building community partnerships that create opportunities for people with disabilities.

From residential supports and employment opportunities to community programs, innovative technology, and resources that address unmet needs, Foundation funding helps Imagine! go beyond what traditional funding sources can provide.

Our mission is simple: We fund the hard stuff. The Imagine! Foundation raises philanthropic support for Imagine!, making opportunities possible for people with disabilities.

Through the generosity of donors, businesses, and community partners, we help turn possibilities into meaningful opportunities.

With Solutions in Mind, the Imagine! Foundation was Formed

In the late 1990s, Imagine! recognized a growing challenge: the needs and aspirations of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities were expanding, while traditional funding sources could not keep pace.

Community leaders saw an opportunity to do something about it. In 2000, the Imagine! Foundation was established as a 501(c)(3) supporting organization to raise philanthropic funds, strengthen community awareness, and expand opportunities for people with disabilities in Boulder and Broomfield counties.

What began as a community-driven response to funding challenges has grown into a lasting partnership, connecting generosity with innovation and helping Imagine! meet needs that might otherwise go unmet.

Why a Separate Foundation?

The Imagine! Foundation is a nonprofit supporting organization with its own Board of Directors, dedicated to advancing Imagine!’s mission through philanthropy and community engagement.

This structure allows the Foundation to focus on building relationships, securing charitable support, and connecting community resources with opportunities that traditional funding may not cover.

Foundation Board members serve as ambassadors, advocates, and community connectors, helping expand Imagine!’s reach and strengthen the network of people and organizations invested in a world of opportunity for all abilities.

Your Generosity at Work

The Imagine! Foundation brings together individuals, families, businesses, foundations, and community partners who believe everyone deserves opportunities to live, learn, work, and connect.

Through charitable gifts, grants, sponsorships, and in-kind contributions, supporters help fund programs, services, technology, and resources that enhance the lives of people with disabilities. This philanthropic support allows Imagine! to respond to emerging needs, pursue innovative ideas, and create opportunities beyond what traditional funding sources make possible.

Every contribution helps open doors to greater choice, independence, and belonging.

The Imagine! Foundation is a 501(c)(3) supporting organization. Federal Tax Identification Number (EIN): 84-1540910.
