Next Step Living Workshop Series: 2026

Join Imagine! for a full year of hands-on life-skills workshops for adults 18+ with I/DD, Autism, and/or Brain Injuries.

Build independence, connect with friends, and learn real-life skills each month.

 

Practice real-life skills, grow your independence, and have fun with friends in the Imagine! Next Step Living Workshop Series.

This year-long series is designed for adults 18+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), Autism, and/or Brain Injuries who want to build the confidence and skills needed for greater independence at home and in the community.

Each month includes 3 Thursday evening workshops and 1 Thursday evening social night, all focused on the skills needed for everyday life—cooking, money management, home care, health, communication, community navigation, safety, and more.

We invite individuals to sign up for one month, a few months, or all 12 months based on your interests and needs.

Cost: The cost each month includes 3 classes and 1 social event for $150; individuals with or without Medicaid Waivers or other long-term care funding are welcome!

Who Can Join

  • Adults 18+ with I/DD, Autism, and/or Brain Injuries
  • People building skills toward living more independently
  • Young adults transitioning from school to adult life
  • Anyone wanting to grow confidence, connection, and everyday life skills
  • No Medicaid Waiver required to participate; Medicaid Waiver funding accepted.

The workshop space is wheelchair accessible. We can provide visual supports, plain-language materials, and other accommodations. To request specific accommodations (including language access), please contact Monica at least one week before your scheduled session.
