Colene Bish has been a Host Home Provider since 2004 and retired at the end of March. Prior to that, she was an employee of Imagine! for many years. Colene is literally the epitome of what a great caregiver should be. Her dedication, compassion, and commitment to the work we do at Imagine! has been nothing short of amazing. Colene never required a lot of oversight, she just quietly and competently went about caring for and supporting others every day. She had a knack for making those in her care feel special and always advocated fiercely for them. She never required accolades or recognition for what she did, she simply did it the right way all the time because she loved it. People who were lucky enough to have her as a provider and friend received the best of the best and always came out better prepared for the next phase in their lives because of the support they received from her. Colene should serve as a reminder and an example to all of us why we’re here in the first place.
