Ryann Mickens - Imagine! Excellence in Customer Service Award Winner

Congratulations are in order for Ryann Mickens, recently selected as an Imagine! Excellence in Customer Service Award Winner.

Here’s what Ryann's nomination said about her: "Ryann has been my supervisor for just under one year but has made more of a difference in my life than any of my pervious leadership I've had. She has open and transparent communication with everyone, respects personal/work life boundaries, supports you in every aspect possible and continues to learn and grow herself while leading others. Ryann stepped into her Assistant Manager role and took charge. I am so proud and grateful to have her as a supervisor as well as be on her team within this organization.

Ryann oversees the School-Age Services department and through the pandemic has been unfailing in her support of families and their children. She has been dedicated to continuing the legacy of quality and engaging services for kids and pushing the program to expand to new families and different activities, pushing for creativity and improved accessibility. This has been demonstrated by her creating new ways to provide services during the pandemic, opening up the program to be integrated, and finding new and exciting opportunities for activities. She also go above on beyond each day in her support of the team she works with. From going in the field and working shifts, to creating new systems for efficiency, to providing one-on-one time with each staff member to check in and ensure they feel supported, Ryann does it all and does it with passion and competence. Each one of her team members has expressed gratitude for Ryann's leadership and regularly comments on how well supported they feel working with Ryann as their supervisor. Lastly, Ryann has demonstrated great capacity and drive for professional growth. Stepping into the assistant manager role after only a year at Imagine! and doing an incredible job of leading the team through the pandemic throughout all the changes that came along with it, including a merger with another department and regular change in leadership. Ryann has remained constant, dedicated, and passionate and has continued to be a stellar example of excellence in customer service. "
