Imagine! Hosts Photo Contest among Employees to Increase Hiring Efforts

Like every other organization in the United States, Imagine! has faced a very tough hiring crisis the past several months, forcing us to work harder than usual to onboard new employees. Imagine! quickly realized that our normal routines and job tasks to recruit new hires were not meeting our needs, and it was time to think outside the box. This sparked an idea to host a photo contest that engages the entire Imagine! workforce and introduces authentic voices and perspectives from those who work directly in the field.

The contest was launched and several Imagine! employees submitted captivating graphics and photos for recruiting purposes. The winners received a gift bag of goodies from our HR department, and the graphics are currently being used to attract new members to our team!

Congratulations to Tyler Little, Imagine! Assistive Technology Supervisor, for taking 1^st place in the contest by producing a creative, eye-catching graphic that is sure to benefit Imagine!’s recruiting efforts for months to come! “I wanted to create something that appeals to Gen Z folks since they’re looking to start their careers,” said Little. “This graphic illustrates being active, being outdoors, and working with a great team, which are all high perks of working at Imagine!.”

Tyler is pictured on the left in the winning graphic, and he is joined by two of his coworkers, Erin Schram and Shannon Pardue. All three are wearing a hoodie that they purchased from Imagine!’s Etsy Shop, which features artwork made by Imagine! artists and printed on select items.
