Val Boggs - Imagine! Excellence in Customer Service Award Recipient

Congratulations are in order for Val Boggs, recently honored with an Imagine! Excellence in Customer Service Award.

Val is always incredibly upbeat, positive and helpful. She trains people with patience, using her history as a teacher to connect and tailor the training towards the person's learning style. Whether you learn by hearing, seeing or doing, Val will be able to adapt and make sure the experience is fun. She makes it clear from the beginning that mistakes are part of learning, taking the stress out of training. She has a vast knowledge of Imagine's processes, many of which she created during her time as Residential Services' Business Support Administrator and all around Gal Friday. The words "that's not my job" aren't in her vocabulary - if something needs to be done, she'll find a way to help. Val also has the warmest heart that authentically connects with the people she works with and with the individuals we serve. During training, when she refers to someone, she'll always say "Oh you'll love them, they're so funny/smart/kind [or whatever other trait she appreciates about them]" and then she'll tell you a story about a great experience she had with that person. She never fails to see the best in people. Through teaching and through her work at Imagine!, Val has devoted her life to enriching the lives of others, and that loving energy permeates all aspects of her life. Her constant smile and easy laugh make the time pass quickly and pleasantly. As a trainer or as a teammate, she works to improve the day and ease the cares of everyone she interacts with.
