Thank You to Vaccine Clinic Volunteers

Volunteers

The vaccine clinics have come to a close with over 800 people in Boulder and Broomfield counties having received their second dose. This feat could not have been accomplished without the time and effort of so many volunteers, ACL, and Boulder Community Health.  Whether they stuffed envelopes to mail the flyers, made name tags, registered individuals, volunteered at the clinics, gave vaccines to individuals, or made calls to individuals after their vaccine, their help was priceless. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who helped out.  Please see below for just a few of the many accolades we have received.

“Thank you for all the hard work you did hosting the COVID 19 clinic. I know it was a lot of work. I heard only good comments about everyone’s experience. Hopefully, now you can breathe. Again, Thank You! We are close now to spending time with my husband’s stepmom.”

Thanks to Karen Kalis for sharing this note about Imagine!’s recent vaccination clinics: “I’m doing the vaccination follow-up calls today. One person that I spoke with is a parent of someone in services, and she asked that I pass this along. She said that both clinics were incredibly well organized, that the volunteers and staff were so friendly, and she was ‘very impressed' with how well we pulled this off. She said that as a customer of Imagine!, she was very pleased.“

“I wanted to say what a great event you put together.  This was the second time I went through this clinic and there were absolutely no problems or lines at either one!  The place was well organized and all the volunteers were knowledgeable and helpful. And thank you for allowing the parents/caregivers to get their vaccines here. This is an excellent service to the community! So congratulations on this great event and we'll be back for our second round in a couple of weeks!”

“I just wanted to let you know that I spoke with a parent on the phone today who had nothing but a glowing review about the vaccination clinic that she and her daughter participated in through Imagine!. This parent was very impressed by the organization, the amount of tables/booths/volunteers, and the ease of accessible drop-off and parking. She also mentioned that she and her daughter shared a special bonding moment with a volunteer in the waiting area afterward.”

“I wanted to thank you. My daughter and her boyfriend got their vaccine Monday at the Imagine! clinic. She said everyone was so nice and that she had a good experience.”

“Everyone there made the trip for his vaccine go well! We appreciate it more than you'll ever know!”

We wanted to share one special story from the clinic: Jamie Zimenoff, a nurse who works at Imagine!, was able to personally give his son Henri his first vaccine shot. Jamie told us: “It was emotional. I started to tear up because personally giving my son the vaccine was special. I could tell he was scared and so to be there to comfort him and give it to him was a special moment. It means a lot to him and our family to be vaccinated, it’s been a tough year.”
