Each year, Imagine! hosts volunteer groups to help with large projects, and individual volunteers to help with a variety of needs. In the fiscal year 2020, 282 volunteers dedicated over 8,000 hours of their time. Imagine!’s volunteer program was briefly paused in March to ensure that the people Imagine! serves remain safe and healthy, but has resumed on a limited basis. Several of the events and photos are from before March 2020 when the pandemic hit.

FALL FORMAL

A sorority group from University of Colorado created a night to remember for clients in Imagine!’s Residential Services at the Fall Formal dance! Volunteers handled event set up, decorations, and food service.

RESIDENTIAL SUPPORTS

A local church youth group helped restore one of the decks at an Imagine! residential site. Thanks to their efforts, the space became more useable and enjoyable for the people living there.

CAR WASHES

Volunteers of all ages showed up throughout the year to wash Imagine! passenger vans and cars. These car washes helped to keep our fleet of 80+ vehicles in tip top shape. Transportation is a key ingredient in providing services in the community.

FUN AND FITNESS

Imagine!’s Community Based services regularly benefitted from groups of volunteers supporting our Fun and Fitness group on Tuesday mornings. Volunteers helped with soccer skills, geocaching, hiking, and other recreational activities.
