Thank You, Chuck Wellman!

In this time of uncertainty, we at Imagine! don’t want to forget that there are still lots of great things happening at our organization: amazing employees doing awesome work, people in services contributing in ways big and small, and lots of support and love from our community. We’d be doing everyone a disservice if we didn’t keep sharing these great stories.
On Tuesday night, Imagine!’s Board of Directors held its monthly meeting (online only, of course). In the meeting we bade a fond farewell to Chuck Wellman, who is stepping down from the board after serving for eight years. Chuck started on the board right around the time of the floods in Boulder, and now he’s providing support during the COVID-19 pandemic. He can’t say it has been boring! Chuck has demonstrated incredible leadership during tough times and good times alike, and we will miss his influence and wisdom greatly. He wasn’t able to get the hearty handshakes and hugs he so rightly deserved at his final meeting, so we’ll offer those from a safe six foot distance, and say with as much gusto as possible “thank you” for helping to create a world of opportunity for all abilities.
