Congratulations are in order for Mikii Schoech, recently selected as an Imagine! Excellence in Customer Service Award Winner.
Here’s what Mikii’s nomination said about her: "When Teri Leiker was senselessly murdered, Mikii stepped up and took on much of the role as the liaison between Imagine! and Teri’s family. This was especially difficult not only because she was communicating with a grieving family, but also because Mikii had her own close relationship with Teri and was heartbroken as well. She exhibited great compassion and empathy throughout, and displayed a can-do attitude with moving into the future and helping others heal. She even spoke on behalf of the family at the Imagine! memorial service and on behalf of Imagine! at the community-wide memorial service held in Boulder. Mikii’s strength enabled many others to mourn Teri’s loss in their own ways, and we will be forever grateful for her."
