Congratulations are in order for Lou Ella Price, recently selected as an Imagine! Excellence in Customer Service Award Winner.

Here’s what Lou Ella’s nomination said about her: Lou Ella eloquently represents Imagine!’s mission and vision through her work ethic every day. Lou Ella’s strengths include her strong leadership skills in collaboration, communication, program and individual advocacy, awareness of systems and process, managing multiple priorities and multitasking, planning, and organizing, impeccable teamwork skills, ability to support people of all walks of life, and abilities, her communication skills—both written and verbal, and her ability to be calm, positive and professional in stressful situations as well as being an asset to the interdisciplinary team that functions to support the fiscal vitality of many programs. I would describe Lou Ella as the glue to essentials aspects to our work that often goes unnoticed but oftentimes is the most important, training QA and billing. Lou Ella always brings her “can-do attitude” and strong and steady high-quality work and professionalism with her every day. She is worthy of the award because of her ability to be a strong team player; her enthusiasm and drive; her insight into the needs of the programs; her ability, willingness, and skill with problem-solving, prioritizing and organizing. Lou Ella isn’t easily daunted by large tasks, challenges, system change, or increased responsibility. She has a lot of curiosity about how things work and a sincere desire to make a contribution that will help things work even better. This March we were told we had approval to retainer bill for services not rendered, this was essential in saving our services while we were shut down from the pandemic. If it wasn’t for the diligence, countless hours, creativity, and make it work attitude Lou Ella provided, I truly don’t know if our services would be where they are today. Also, Lou Ella has been pivotal in streamlining all billing for services during our department restructure. Without her support and creative solutions, our billing processes would be getting in the way of our ability to successfully rebuild services. "
