Imagine! Foundation Board Member Donates Cookies

Today we thank our good friend, emeritus Imagine! Foundation Board of Directors member, and all around Imagine! ambassador extraordinaire, Leona Stoecker, for her generous donation of several cases of Girl Scout cookies for our staff to enjoy. Leona tells the story: “I was soliciting funds for the Longmont Chamber of Commerce for the renovation of their building. One of my assignments was a Moving & Storage Company. When the Girl Scouts order their cookies, this company allows them to use warehouse space. When the Scouts finish their sales there are always lots of cases left, which are then distributed to many non-profits in Longmont. Since I had mentioned Imagine! several times, they called me to see if we could use cookies. I shared as many as they wanted with Imagine!’s Collyer street companion home, home then delivered the rest to Imagine!’s Dixon Street building!”
