How We Are Keeping Clients Safe During COVID-19

Services

COVID-19 has turned the world upside down, but Imagine! has implemented several changes to make sure those that receive services through Imagine! are safe, healthy, and protected as much as possible from this virus. Services may look different in the current reality, but they are essential in making sure we are supporting you and your loved ones safely during this time. Please refer to our direct response plan for our most up to date informational plan.

Imagine! Direct Response Plan

Below you will find an overview of how Imagine! services have changed and what we are doing to ensure the utmost safety measures.

Imagine! Direct Services:

  • We know Imagine!’s Direct Services are critical and we continue to look at ways to minimize disruption while strictly following public health guidelines. Right now, we are able to deliver Early Intervention therapies, Mental Health services, Behavioral Health services, and some day program and therapeutic recreation services virtually through a variety of methods. We are working diligently to avoid disruption in as many services as possible.
  • Since mid-March, Imagine! has been offering different opportunities for 1:1 supports in the home during our normal operating hours. Our goal is to assign one staff member to each individual to limit the likelihood of any exposure and continue to enforce/practice social distancing.
  • Imagine!’s Employment Services are still providing independent employment for individuals whose workplaces are still open and providing work. They are only providing group employment with 1:1 supports if workplaces are still open and allow for social distancing.
  • All of our residential sites are fully staffed and we’re working diligently to keep everyone in those homes, both the residents and the workforce, healthy.
  • Imagine! is restricting all non-essential visitors to the group homes. Day services may be delivered in Imagine! group homes depending on availability, and only if the services can be delivered safely.
  • In the event of a positive test or presumed positive, quarantine or isolation will be used immediately. To see the exact procedure in place, please click here.

Imagine! Care Coordination Services:

  • Care Coordination services are also being delivered virtually through a variety of methods. Please be advised that Imagine! Case Managers are still conducting Individualized Plan (IP) meetings remotely during this time to ensure the safety of all involved. Postponing those meetings could lead to a break in benefits.

Imagine! Family Recruited Employee Services:

  • If service delivery in the home is provided by family member who lives in the home, services may continue, unless signs/symptoms/travel history pose a risk, in which case service would be discontinued. If the FRE provider is sick, Imagine! will attempt to backfill services with other FREs or Imagine! Community and Employment Services employees.
