Congratulations are in order for Jen Kozlowski, who was recently honored with an Imagine! Excellence in Customer Service Award.
Jen is a talented speech therapist and a dynamite member of Imagine!’s Dayspring team. She delivers the highest level of care to the kids and families she works with and always makes a sincere effort to include her families in the value-added programs offered by Dayspring, such as the Outdoor Adventures and Stomping with Sara classes. Jen has many children on her caseload who present with additional challenges beyond speech and language delays, such as signs of being on the autism spectrum. Specifically, up to 1/3 of the children on her caseload have these additional challenges and thus require specialized support and attention from Jen. To manage this, Jen pro-actively reaches out to team members for ideas and does personal practice enrichment to help her meet the complex needs of the kids she serves. Jen is often in a position where she is the first person who identifies a child may have autism and therefore must have challenging and emotional conversations with families around this. All the while, she is positive and graceful. In addition, Jen continually meets or exceeds her productivity expectations, contributing to the ongoing stability and success of the Dayspring Department as a whole. Last, but not least, Jen is a delight in staff and one-on-one meetings. She eloquently shares her advice and opinions with team members, expresses gratitude for things that are going well, and makes concise suggestions that improve the program. One example of this is when Jen shared a report template she created that made it easier and faster for Dayspring therapists to complete annual reports. Jen has worked at Imagine! for nearly 18 years and Imagine! and the Dayspring team are lucky and grateful to have her!
