We are excited to announce today the name for our future combined Case Management Agency, which will bring together the skills and experience of ACMI and Imagine! to serve all ages and disabilities.
The process to come up with this name was robust and thorough. ACMI and Imagine! employees and members of both boards of directors were engaged to help us identify a name that honors the two agencies’ combined 90 plus year legacy of serving local citizens with a variety of disabilities, while at the same time representing a path to the future where we will serve as an equally important and integral aspect of our community.
So without further delay, we are honored to share that the new CMA for Colorado service area eight, which includes Boulder, Broomfield, and Gilpin counties will be called: A&I Avenues
The ‘A & I” in the name symbolizes the deep histories of ACMI and Imagine!, using the first letter of each, therefore connecting with the past of almost a century of service to our community, while “avenues” connects us all with a future where people with a wide variety of disabilities can each take the road that best serves their unique needs, goals, and desires.
We hope you will share our excitement with this new name as we take the next step toward making our community a healthier and more inclusive space for all.
