Many of you might have heard of Ian, an artist who sells his art through Imagine!'s Etsy shop and has built quite a following. Ian's process is quite unique. He starts off with a white canvas then decides on his colors using an iPad. Once the colors are chosen, the Imagine! Community Services staff members help to mix the color into various bottles. Ian then starts to fill all of the white space with the colors of his choice, going through several bottles of paint at a time. Once the canvas is full of color, he adds in texture by spraying splashes of gold, silver, and other bright colors. These pieces have been featured all across Imagine!, even being used as the design on the Imagine! Swirl of Opportunity Gelato Boy pint.
There are several items on the Imagine! Etsy shop that were created using Ian's paintings, such as mugs, prints, laptop sleeves, and more. Additionally, several people have contacted Ian to commission their very own works of art. Ian is a master of his craft and all of proceeds that are made on his art go directly to him.
