How Masks Are Bringing The Imagine! Community Together

Apr-24-2020

We know right now that masks are key in keeping our employees and people in services safe and healthy during this time. Here’s a couple of stories of the Imagine! family stepping up, mask-wise.

Imagine! employee Andorra Turner reached out to us to let us know that she is 3D printing some "ear savers" for people who wear masks all day (see pictures below). Then we learned that Imagine! employee Erin Schram was also printing some! They both generously suggested that employees could email them to get the ear savers.

Then, Imagine! CEO Rebecca Novinger’s mother reached out to help, making 30 masks for Imagine! (also pictured below). Rebecca said, “My mom, Debby Holmes, is a seamstress. She made all of my figure skating dresses growing up, and turned that into a business.” And now she’s making masks for us!

We continue to be amazed, and so thankful, for the many people who are doing what they can to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities during this pandemic.
