News and notes from Imagine! and the Imagine! Foundation.

Good News Friday!

Imagine! is hosting a Black Lives Matter “Celebration of Solidarity” on August 29 featuring artwork from Imagine! clients and employees. That date has historical significance to the Black community, as it was on this date in 1957 that Congress passed the nation’s first Civil Rights Act in more than 80 years. We will be displaying art outdoors and will be leading a short parade. The event will begin at Imagine!’s office building at 1400 Dixon Street Masks at 10AM and the parade will begin at 10:30. The public is welcome to join us! Masks and appropriate social distancing are required.
