Today we’d like to welcome Stephen Duhon to Imagine!. Stephen will be taking on the role of Imagine!’s AmeriCorps Planning Grant Manager.

This is a brand new position at Imagine! thanks to a grant program through AmeriCorps. Imagine! applied for and received a grant this past fall, providing us with funds to hire a manager responsible for developing a new program that will onboard and train AmeriCorps members, who will serve as Direct Support Professionals. Stephen will work closely with Imagine! leadership, AmeriCorps, and community partners to lead the design, planning, and development of this initiative for the duration of the Planning Grant (Jan. 2021 - Dec. 2022). After building the necessary foundation and systems, Stephen will assist Imagine! with applying for an AmeriCorps Operational Grant in October of 2022, and if awarded, this position will be funded for an additional three years, allowing Imagine! to continue partnering with AmeriCorps in an effort to improve our workforce and provide exceptional care for those we serve.

Stephen (he/they) is an amateur forager, hiker, and proud dog parent. Stephen and his partner have been living in Colorado for the past three years. He holds a Master of Science in Social and Organizational Psychology from the University of Exeter and a Bachelor of Art in Psychology from Purdue University. They spent the last three years working in the nonprofit and government sectors. Now, they are excited to apply themselves at Imagine!.
