The 21st Annual Imagine! Celebration is in the books, and by that, we mean the record books! The event raised over $500,000 for our mission, the largest total ever raised at this event! Below you will find more details, see the many people who helped make it a success, and find a number of videos from the event.

Gratitude

The evening moved smoothly, thanks to so much behind-the-scenes effort that began just five weeks ago when we determined that virtual was the way to go.

The Imagine! staff volunteers, expertly organized by Elizabeth Hill, delivered 298 meals from Big Red F to 32 locations, and we have heard rave reviews about the meals Dave Query’s culinary team prepared – our relationship with Big Red F is priceless. At Blackbelly, VIP Guests picked up 24 charcuteries – Hosea Rosenberg has been such a good friend to Imagine!.

We started and ended the show on time, and working with Dog House Music Studio was an absolute delight! Zoe Polk was incredible not just at the event, but in her overall leadership of the Imagine! Celebration Committee. Sandy Brown and Bret Saunders carried the evening with messages of the community and possibility. Rebecca Novinger’s message of adversity, resilience, grit and hope left us with chills. Pipedreams Media phenomenally told the story of the Three Amigos. Auctioneer Keith McLane helped give that “in the room” feeling, raising a ton of money for Imagine!’s services.

Fred Hobbs and Cara Sheridan created so much incredible video and print content – including the preshow and postshow, live auction preview, and the IC2022 program booklet – as well as social media outreach to drive registrations and thank sponsors and auction donors. Fred’s support and creative input on the messaging for the entire show made it meaningful and engaging. Scott Wendelberger served as chat monitor during the evening, keeping our online guests engaged and entertained.

In Kari Johnson’s first year at Imagine!, she harnessed the incredible team that is the IC Committee to put together an auction that was more than double the size of what we thought could be secured, and the bidding was nothing short of ferocious! She singlehandedly found new auction donors and created the Wine Pull that so many contributed to. It sold out before the show even began! Her behind-the-scenes efforts were herculean.

The final note of gratitude must go to Patti Micklin, Executive Director of the Imagine! Foundation. Once again she has outdone herself, leading, directing, cajoling, and creating an unparalleled event in our area. The success of the event is a testament to her smarts, creativity, and determination, and the result is more opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities living in Boulder and Broomfield counties to be active, participating members of their communities.

The Videos

Here’s the entire show.

And below are the videos that helped share Imagine!’s message to our many Celebration attendees.

This video gives a brief overview of Imagine!’s work.

We shared this very short video featuring a song created by our clients. The video also includes some energetic dancing from our clients!

The highlight of the evening, of course, was the story of The Three Amigos.

More Gratitude

We send many thanks to our Imagine! Celebration Sponsors!

We are also grateful for the many generous donors to our Silent Auction.
