Last Saturday’s Imagine! Celebration was a huge success – preliminary results showed we raised over $400,000!

Our success began with great sponsorships, underwriting, tickets, new live items and fabulous silent auction items. Auctioneer Halie Behr was so engaging for the Live Auction – and hilarious! An incredible group of guests were clearly inspired – many of whom were new to learn about Imagine!.

George Karakahian and Bella Larsen kicked off the program and both made the mission front and center! And Jana Petersen was not only an incredible emcee, but shared her own story so beautifully, you could hear a pin drop while she spoke.

Jessica and Jeff Tyler allowed us to learn about their journey, sharing something so painful and scary with a desire to help others going forward. What more could we hope for than to forever be part of Team Ben!? (Check out their video below)

Bob Von Eschen’s brief comments hit the mark, and his generosity is astounding. Auctioneer Gary Corbett did a thorough job running the Special Appeal and Heads or Tails.

The Imagine! Celebration is a team effort, and the team is huge. Imagine! Foundation Board Members solicited sponsorships and auction items and were incredible hosts. The Imagine! Celebration Committee, led by Katie Hawkins and Zoe Polk, made it all look effortless.

Imagine! PR folks Fred Hobbs and Cara Sheridan, along with Imagine! IT Director Kevin Harding, were heavily invested in the program, and were instrumental in its success.

Heather Sabo is always the hero of the event because she gets all the behind-the-scenes things done in such an effortless-looking way. Elizabeth Hill was a tremendous help as key troubleshooter, and Imagine! is lucky to have both Heather and Elizabeth on the team.

The Imagine! staff members who gave up their Saturday night to volunteer received rave reviews from guests for answering questions and helping to make the evening run so smoothly.

And of course, none of this could happen without Imagine! Foundation Executive Director Patti Micklin. Her passion for Imagine!, her attention to details big and small, and her leadership are paramount in making this fundraiser the amazing success it is every year.
