Highlighting Imagine!'s Business Partners: Avery Brewing Co

This week we would like to highlight a business partner of Imagine! – Avery Brewing Co. Avery started in 1993 and has been breaking records ever since. In 1994, their Out of Bounds Stout won the gold at GABF, in 1996, their IPA was the 1st packaged IPA in Colorado, and in 2008, their 15th Anniversary Edition met a milestone of being the largest batch of 100% Brett beer ever produced. Avery Brewing Co. has been a partner of Imagine!’s since the fall of 2020 and works with the folks in Imagine!’s Employment Services to help find meaningful employment for groups of people with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD). In order to do that, job coaches at Imagine! work with the staff at Avery to find positions for groups of people with I/DD as well as provide an accessible and inclusive work environment. Not only is Avery Brewing Co. an accomplished brewery with a plethora of beers to try, but they play an active part in helping to create a world of opportunity for all abilities through meaningful employment.
Thank you to everyone at Avery Brewing Co. for helping to provide meaningful employment to dozens of people with I/DD over the past decade. We are forever grateful to this business for seeing the potential of all, hiring an inclusive and diverse workforce, and being a partner with Imagine! in the past and for many years to come!
