Congratulations are in order for Audrey Naftel, recently selected as an Imagine! Excellence in Customer Service Award Winner.
Here’s what Audrey’s nomination, from a parent of someone in services, said about her: “In her short time, Audrey has been invaluable to us. I am glad you may be able to recognize her based on her performance and interaction with us. Last December, we had a team meeting, Audrey came extremely well prepared with the needed documents and provided pertinent input. This was impressive enough; however during the meeting we were discussing some unusual behavior our son had been exhibiting and realized a Rx he had been taking for months was a generic brand for his seizures. He has never responded to this Rx, and has Dr. Orders to only fill with the original drug, never as a generic drug. We had planned to bring our son home for the Christmas and New Year holidays following this meeting. Audrey, not the agency case manager, went out of her way during that busy season to help us find a local pharmacy able to fulfill this need. This took many phone calls on her part. It allowed us to keep our travel plans and immediately we noticed a difference in our sons behavior.
Since then, our interactions have continued to be positive. During this COVID pandemic, life has been difficult. As you know, it has been even more difficult for this population. Most recently, his team began investigating the prospect of a live-in aide to help our son. He has a one bedroom condo. She again was an advocate for him and brought up valid points to consider. I believe Audrey is mature beyond her years and really cares about our son and I am sure others in her charge. ”
