Hi all! My name is Jessi and I am Imagine!’s Talent Acquisition Manager (aka Recruiter).
Before moving to the Human Resources department, I worked in Imagine!’s Adult Community Services department. I started as a Direct Support Professional and was a supervisor with that team for several years.
Direct Care is still one of the most challenging and most fun jobs that I have ever had. I believe there are certain skills and insights you gain from working directly with the folks we serve and I am passionate about spreading that experience and knowledge within Human Resources and throughout Imagine!.
That is why I was eager to step into my current role. I can still support our participants, many of whom I have come to know very closely and I care about deeply, by helping find valuable members of the Imagine! team. And I have become more and more knowledgeable about other departments at Imagine!; I continue to learn the variety of ways we provide resources to the IDD community. It turns out, we do a lot!
All of our employees are driven to support others, and each position we have contributes in a unique way to our mission, creating a world of opportunity for all abilities.
Whether you are starting as a DSP like I did, sitting on our Executive Team, or somewhere in between, you are likely here because you care about others and you want to do something rewarding and meaningful.
