Bob and Judy Charles pledge $100,000 to go towards the development of Imagine!'s Boulder SmartHome, now known as the Bob and Judy Charles SmartHome. They were recognized as Donors of the Year in 2008. Imagine! Donors of the Year 2008.

Mark Emery takes over as Executive Director and serves until 2019. Imagine!'s Magical Atmosphere by Mark Emery.

1997

Imagine! creates Out & About, a program that later became Imagine!'s School Age Services, in November and publishes the first catalog of activities just a few months later. The Out & About Story by Colette Marie, former Director of the Out & About department.

Imagine! creates Labor Source, a program that later became Imagine!'s Employment Services and Imagine!'s Day Program. Stronger Together by Tom Riley, former Director of the Labor Source department.

1983

Imagine!'s third Executive Director, John Taylor, is hired. He served from 1983 to 2008. How Imagine! Got Its Name by John Taylor.

1976

Imagine! hires Don Coloroso as the second Executive Director. He served from 1976 to 1983. Former Director Recalls Administration by Don Coloroso.

Imagine! was established by a group of parents determined to see that their children with developmental disabilities had the opportunity to participate in their community.
